TWITTER - Getting Started

Tips for starting Twitter

1.  Create an account on twitter.com   
2.  Twitter name should not be your personal name
3.  Decide what you will be promoting (this should be something you can monetize - see Monetize)
4.  Change background of twitter account to match your topic
5.  Create several branching topics of information you will provide for followers (see Branching)  
6.  Content (tweeting) should match your niche
7.  Comment on other twitter accounts related to your topic
8.  Respond back to others even if its a Happy Face or LOL
9.  Retweet cool things others post about your niche (sometimes even random things are okay)

1.  Be sure to use your twitter account to connect to your blog and vice versa
2.  3 Major topics should be developed for your site - Ideas below to consider

  • New issues for your topic (New rules, developments, related news)
  • Videos related to topic
